CHAMBER MUSIC TOLEDO LAUNCHES ARTIST SERIES WITH SAX 4^th AVENUE

The renowned saxophone quartet Sax 4^th Avenue will present the inaugural concert in the newly-formed Chamber Music Toledo’s 2007-2008 Artist Series, Sunday November 4^th at the Maumee Indoor Theater, 601 Conant Street in uptown Maumee, Ohio.

Formed in 1991, Sax 4^th Avenue has entertained audiences throughout the Midwest with its unique brand of virtuosity, showmanship, and humor. This high-energy performance will feature the classics of Bach, Beethoven, and Bizet; the progressive rock of King Crimson; and original compositions by Maurice JeanJean, Stephen Rush, Philip Glass, Bob Mintzer, and Pete Ford.

Tickets are $12 general admission, $5 for college students, and $1 for 18 and under; and can be purchased by calling the Toledo Symphony box office at 419.246.8000, and will be available at the door.
